Donna Logan, Diane Wassick, Bell Choir Directors Playing handbells is a great way to enjoy music in a group environment, and where every person is essential and equally important. We play three octaves of American Guild of English Handbell Ringers (AGEHR) Level 1-4 music and arrange our own music, as well. Our set of handbells, purchased in the mid 1970's gets a real workout! Handbell playing builds community and friendships within our church, and brings an additional musical spirit to the worship service. Our church currently has four groups, consisting of approximately 40 adults and youth. Our groups, each of which plays 2-4 times per year during worship services, include:
SINGERS: Share your talent and join the FPUPC Choir, for the 2010/2011 season, starting in the fall.
Since the introduction of our new choir robes (34) last fall, several of our members have moved from this area or
have become ill and can no longer sing with us. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings, 7:30PM to 9 or 9:30PM and we sing
at either the 9AM or 11AM worship services on alternating Sundays. Our repertoire consists of all forms of liturgical music.
